Refusing to rush through another blog post

I didn’t intend to skip posting to this blog this week. I thought I would find time to write during my time at my parents’ in France, but I did not. So now I am on a road trip to the Pyrenees with my son, and finding just a few minutes and a bit of internet connection to write and publish this quick note.

Taking a beat

Instead of rushing out a post, I’m taking a moment to reflect on time spent with my family, and choosing not to further interrupt time on this road trip with worries about a publishing schedule.

My next post will be focused on comparing TV, Gaming, Social Media and GenAI as “addictive” technologies, and what divides them in two very different categories that I don’t think we reflect on enough when we consider their impact on our ability to think critically.

For now, I will leave you with this picture from our current road trip. It’s much colder than I anticipated, and it’s scheduled to rain quite a bit, but we have some amazing hikes planned and all the layers we need to stay warm and dry. So onward to make new memories with my (only and) favorite son!
